I’ve had my NIU scooter for around a few months now, and the app connection has been really solid. It picks up the scooter quickly, even if I haven’t opened the app in a while. The battery info and location usually show up without me having to mess around with anything.
I was a little worried it might be buggy, but so far it’s been about as simple as I could hope for. I think maybe one time it took a bit longer to sync, but it wasn’t a big deal. For me, the app is actually one of the better parts of owning the scooter

I’ve been riding it every day, and it’s been a really smooth experience so far. It feels quick enough for what I need, handles bumps kinda better than I expected, and the brakes feel solid too.

My NIU charges without any real problems most days, and the app does show the charging info clearly, even if it lags a little sometimes. At first I was like, okay, this is totally manageable. But then after waiting around longer than expected, I started getting annoyed fast. It’s not a bad charger or anything, I just wish it charged quicker and didn’t get as warm while doing it.

It gets me around town well and I do like driving it but the range has been kind of disappointing. I was expecting a little more in everyday use especially when I have errands or a longer drive planned

I’ve generally been a NIU fan and my scooter was great at first, so I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. But when the app started showing an error, the repair shop told me they had to wait on warranty approval and parts, and that’s when things got annoying.
What frustrated me most was how long it dragged on and how little I heard unless I kept checking in myself. It did eventually get fixed, and I still like the scooter overall, but being without it for weeks made me question how loyal I am to the brand. Not a total disaster, just a disappointing experience.

I had a good feeling about this scooter when I got it, and so far it’s lived up to that. For the price, it feels like a solid deal, and I don’t have any complaints yet.

I had a small issue with my order, so I reached out to customer service and they got back to me quickly. They fixed it without making it complicated or anything, which I really appreciated. i was expecting it to take longer, but it just kind of... worked out. Happy with the whole thing.

For me, the build feels sturdy overall, so I’m not worried about it falling apart or anything. But I noticed it scratches way too easily, which is annoying because I like my stuff to stay looking nice. It’s okay, just not as polished as I was hoping.

I do like the scooter for the most part, so I’m not too upset with it, but the battery is kind of just okay. It’s fine if I’m only doing shorter rides, but I’ve noticed the range drops quicker than I expected when it’s colder out or if I’m riding a bit faster. Charging takes a little longer than I’d like too. I guess it does the job, but for the price, I was hoping the battery would be a bit more impressive.

I’ll be honest, the scooters on niu.com do look clean in the photos. Like i said, I liked the simple colors at first, and everything seemed neat and easy to look at.

But after clicking around for a bit, the designs started to feel kind of too plain to me. Like i said, clean is nice, but a lot of the models felt really similar, and nothing really jumped out or made me excited.

The website itself also feels a little cold, like it’s polished but not that fun to browse. I was expecting a bit more personality overall. It’s not bad or anything, like i said, just not really my style

I’ve been riding my niu around pretty much daily, and it’s been more comfortable than I expected. The seat still feels good even on longer rides, and it handles rougher streets without shaking too much. I also like that I can sit upright and ride without feeling worn out. If you’re mostly doing city trips, I’d say it’s definitely worth considering.

I picked up a NIU scooter a while ago, and for the most part it’s been decent. The ride feels smooth enough, and the battery seems to handle my usual daily trips without any real problem.
That said, I’m not completely convinced about the build quality. Some of the plastic pieces feel a little cheap to me, and after a few months I’ve started noticing a small rattle somewhere around the front, though I can’t really tell exactly where it’s coming from.
For the price, I guess I expected the finishing to feel a bit more solid. It’s not a bad scooter at all, and I still use it, but I’m not sure I’d call it amazing either.

I ordered from niu.com and it was easy. The tracking was clear enough, and the scooter arrived when it was supposed to. It was packed well too, no damage or anything. Didn’t have to follow up with anyone or sit around wondering where it was. Delivery was just solid
